Code of Ethics and Conduct of Jaloreto & Associados

Jaloreto & Associados law firm understands that ETHICS is the basic premise for the law practice. The ethical conduct does not require interpretations and/or explanations. Jaloreto & Associados law firm establishes this instrument aiming at guiding and defining the following principles and rules of conduct by acting with ethics, excellence of results, engagement of all involved, synergy and commitment.

By guiding its criminal law practice and compliance for over 20 years, Jaloreto & Associados law firm has been establishing relationships with its employees, consultants, partners, contractors, agents and public agencies, suppliers and clients in full compliance with anti-corruption legislation, in particular the Brazilian Criminal Code (CPB), the Anti-Corruption Law (Law 12,846/13) and related international legislation.

Jaloreto & Associados law firm complies with the General Data Protection Act (LGPD) and related international legislation in using the information and documents under its custody and responsibility.

Users of the facilities and equipment of Jaloreto & Associados law firm are aware of the access to confidential information and agree to protect its equipment by making appropriate use of locked files, properly disposing of paper and documents, and fragmenting them, and using passwords on its equipment.

All facilities and equipment of Jaloreto & Associados law firm are solely and exclusively intended for the performance of its operations and cannot be used privately, except upon prior consent.

Users of facilities and equipment are aware that all material, information, documents and files created, received and stored relating to the professional law practice are the property of Jaloreto & Associados law firm and cannot be used by any other person and/or competitor.

This Code is in accordance with the Laws in force at the time of its drafting, which is why it will always be evolving. Its most updated version will always be available on the office’s website www.jaloreto.com.br
